The TAT series cooling towers are designed based on a sturdy steel structure and efficient counterflow operation, making them the most efficient products in the cooling tower industry. The unique counterflow fill design makes it an ideal unit for operation in winter (at freezing temperatures).
▍ Operating Principle
Hot water from the heat source is sent to the upper water distribution system of the cooling tower, where it is sprayed onto the fill by large nozzles, while dry cold air enters from the air inlet grille at the bottom of the cooling tower, forming a counterflow with the sprayed water. A small portion of the water evaporates, taking away heat and lowering the water temperature. The hot, humid air is expelled by the fan at the top into the surrounding atmosphere, while the cooled water falls into the collection basin and returns to the heat source. The large distance between the air inlet and outlet reduces the possibility of air recirculation.

High-efficiency heat exchange fill
● The TAT cooling tower uses specially designed PVC fill with a sloped channel shape, capable of withstanding high water loads and effectively enhancing heat exchange.
● The PVC fill has excellent corrosion resistance and fire resistance, and high-temperature fill can be used when the cooling water temperature exceeds 55 degrees.
● It uses a fully enclosed motor, which has a certain overload operation capability and a long service life.
● The wing-shaped wide-blade aluminum alloy fan results in low operating noise, low power consumption, and high efficiency.
● Heavy-duty fan bearings, with an L10 service life of 75,000 hours.
● High-strength belts designed for 150% of the motor nameplate power load make the equipment operation more reliable.
● The interior uses corrosion-resistant aluminum fan blades and motor pulleys.
Unique air inlet window
● The uniquely designed three-channel air inlet window effectively reduces the entry of dust from the atmosphere into the water basin, while also reducing the accumulation of dirt, sediment, bacteria, and algae in the basin.
Water distribution system
● The water distribution system consists of corrosion-resistant PVC pipes and large-diameter ABS nozzles, equipped with anti-clogging rings that extend into the pipes to prevent nozzle clogging; the end caps of the branch pipes have threaded openings for easy discharge of debris.
Water splash guard
● It can change the direction of air flow to reduce the splash water loss rate, made of corrosion-resistant PVC material, and the detachable design facilitates maintenance of the coil section.
Easy maintenance
● The collection basin is designed to be sloped for easy cleaning, allowing debris to be easily discharged from the basin.
● The air inlet windows on all four sides of the unit are designed to be removable, making it convenient for maintenance personnel to enter the basin for cleaning and inspection.
● The unit's casing section is equipped with sliding maintenance doors, allowing maintenance personnel to inspect and repair the unit's drive components after entering through the maintenance door, and the extended oil pipes facilitate bearing lubrication.
● The unit is equipped with a TV hanging rack, maintenance platform, and ladder, making it convenient for maintenance personnel to perform on-site repairs.
