    The TMC closed cooling tower, compared to open cooling towers, allows the cooled process fluid to flow in a closed pipeline, avoiding direct contact between the cooling water and the outside air, which can lead to contamination of the process fluid. This makes the entire system more advantageous in terms of operation and maintenance.
    The unique composite flow technology of the TMC induced draft closed cooling tower combines the characteristics of cross-flow closed cooling towers and open cooling towers, providing efficient heat exchange and high operational reliability.


    ▍‌Operating Principle

     


    The hot fluid medium enters the coil inside the tower body, transferring heat to the spray water outside the pipe through the pipe wall. At the same time, air enters from the upper air intake grille, flowing down over the outer surface of the coil. Some of the spray water evaporates, taking away heat, and the heat-saturated air is expelled into the atmosphere by the fan. The un-evaporated spray water falls into the bottom water tank, cooling down as it passes through the PVC cooling fins during its descent. The water pump then draws water from the tank to the water distribution system, spraying it onto the outer surface of the coil, and this process repeats.


    ▍‌Performance Characteristics
    Compact Structure
    ● The tower body has a compact structure, saving space, and the spray water flows in the opposite direction to the air, resulting in a larger temperature or enthalpy difference compared to cross-flow types, which is beneficial for improving heat exchange performance. Due to the single-side air intake of the tower body, it is not limited by site constraints and has high flexibility.
    Hot-dip Galvanized Heat Exchange Coil
    ● For heat exchange, the first requirement is the heat exchange area. The heat exchange coil is made of hot-dip galvanized carbon steel pipes with a thickness of 1.5mm, providing excellent overall corrosion resistance. The welding of the coil uses argon arc welding, with a design pressure of 2.5MPa. During the manufacturing process, each individual coil is subjected to a strict test at a pressure of 2.5MPa, and the assembled coil undergoes a gas-tightness test at 2.5MPa to ensure its pressure resistance. The inlet and outlet connection pipes are flanged for easy installation and disassembly.
    Excellent Return Air Effect
    ● It is not easy to have thermal return air because the outlet and inlet are far apart.
    Easily Accessible Water Tank
    ● The water tank can be accessed from all sides, and the open area simplifies maintenance. The water tank can also be checked while the pump is running.
    Spray Water Distribution System
