    The Tinya open cooling tower adopts a modular combination, allowing the selection of the number of operating modules based on changes in the surrounding environmental temperature, thereby saving operating costs.


    ▍ Operating Principle

     


    Hot water from the heat source flows into the upper water distribution tank of the cooling tower, where it is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the fill material through the distribution holes under the action of gravity. At the same time, air enters from the air intake grilles on both sides of the cooling tower, flows horizontally across the fill material, and forms a cross flow with the sprayed water. A small portion of the water evaporates, taking away heat and lowering the water temperature. The hot and humid air is expelled into the surrounding atmosphere by the fan at the top, while the cooled water falls into the collection basin and returns to the heat source.


    ▍ Performance Characteristics
    1) The fan uses wing-shaped wide-blade hollow aluminum alloy, which has lower noise, higher strength, and lighter weight compared to ordinary aluminum alloy plate fans.
    2) The collection basin is made of a one-piece FRP design, and in cases with more than two modules, a leak-proof sealing pad is used for connection, avoiding leakage and corrosion issues. The inclined design allows water and dirt impurities to be easily discharged outside the tower.
    3) The uniquely designed PVC fill material of the heat exchanger has high cooling efficiency, corrosion resistance, and good high-temperature performance. The design of the fill material makes it easy to remove, clean, and install. The TCT open cooling tower adopts an advanced induced draft cross flow design, fully mixing air and water for high-efficiency heat exchange. The unique connection technology allows the fill material to bond tightly together, and the water eliminator is made of PVC, integrated with the fill material, with a water drift rate (splash rate) of less than 0.001%. This is an efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly design solution for industrial applications.     4) The motor uses high-quality components specifically configured for low-noise cooling towers, optimizing energy management and saving costs. The motor has a protection level of IP55 and an insulation class of F.
    5) The inlet and outlet of the tower body use flange connections, making on-site installation more convenient.
    6) The cooling tower shell is made of PVC or fiberglass.
    7) The interior of the tower body features wide inspection walkways and internal piping configurations, making maintenance work easier.
    8) The tower body frame is made of section steel, increasing the connection strength and the strength of the tower body. The increased thickness of the steel plate enhances the strength of the galvanized coating.
    9) Advanced drive system design
    ① Hollow aluminum alloy, characterized by high strength, light weight, easy balancing, and large air volume.
    ② The fan motor uses a heavy-duty fully enclosed motor, ensuring a long service life.
    ③ The TCT medium and large models use a multi-groove belt drive system, which has high lateral stiffness. The belt is made of neoprene rubber with polyester threads, making it durable. The belt, drive system, and pulleys are all protected by a drive cover, allowing the entire system to operate under safer conditions, ensuring that the drive system is not affected by environmental conditions, extending the unit's service life, and reducing the likelihood of downtime due to failures.
