▍Working Principle
Hot water from the heat source flows into the upper spray water pipe of the tower, and under pressure, it is evenly sprayed onto the packing through the nozzle. At the same time, cold air enters the tower from the lower part of the cooling tower through the air inlet grille, flowing countercurrent over the packing. A small portion of the water evaporates, taking away heat and lowering the water temperature, while the humid air absorbing the latent heat of vaporization is discharged into the surrounding atmosphere by the top fan. The cooled water then falls into the water basin and is sent back to the heat source.
▍Design Features
Industrial cooling towers can have excellent cooling capacity, low maintenance costs, and high economic efficiency in operating costs, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. The TAI type is widely used in places with large flow rates (with a maximum single unit processing capacity of up to 5000 tons/hour) and limited land area. The tower body framework can be made of four different materials: steel structure, reinforced concrete, fiberglass pultruded profiles, and anti-corrosive wood.
