Maintenance and Repair

Cooling tower maintenance precautions

1) The V-belt of the blower may stretch slightly during the first operation. Please adjust the belt tightness appropriately according to the adjustment instructions. If it is too tight, the bearing will be damaged and cause an accident.

2) Please clean the upper sink drain holes and lower sink filter screen regularly once a month.

3) When not in operation, please loosen the belt, add oil to the fan bearing, and cover the motor. During the initial operation, check the tightness of the belt, tighten the nut, and add oil to the fan bearing. Also, check if there are bird nests or foreign objects in the tower before starting the machine.

4) Exchange circulating water at least twice a year.

5) After the circulating water evaporates, the dissolved substances in the water will be left behind, increasing the water concentration. After the water is concentrated, it will become more corrosive and increase the scale, which will reduce the cooling tower capacity and damage the pipes and equipment. In order to prevent this situation, it is recommended to use the method of draining part of the circulating water to solve the problem:
① Open the drain valve only a little during operation (please turn off the drain valve when the operation stops);
② Clean the lower water tank and change the water regularly;
③ Increase the operating water level and overflow frequently;
④ Install an automatic water changing device.
