Yuze Semiconductor (Wenshan) Co., Ltd. was established in Xiban Industrial Park, Industrial Demonstration Park, Guangnan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province in March 2022. The company plans a total production capacity of 30GW of crystal pulling + slicing, which will be completed in two phases. The total land area of the project is expected to be 960 acres. The first phase plans 20GW of crystal pulling + slicing: 10GW of crystal pulling + slicing capacity will be put into production in March 2023, and another 10GW of crystal pulling + slicing capacity is planned to be put into production in July.
Yuze Semiconductor (Wenshan) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yunnan Yuze Semiconductor Co., Ltd. It is the first N-type silicon photovoltaic material company introduced by Yunnan Province. It currently has three major production bases in Wenshan, Chuxiong and Yichun and an operation center in Suzhou.
After years of accumulation and innovation, Wenshan Yuze has achieved high conversion efficiency, long life and low light decay in N-type silicon wafer technology. Its products fully cover the three mainstream technical routes of N-type cells HJT, TOPCon and IBC. It is the first in the industry to achieve mass production of 110-micron thick 210 small gold bricks, and has broken through the technical barriers of 90-micron thick 210 small gold bricks, achieving leading positions in many indicators, becoming the pioneer and technology leader of photovoltaic N-type silicon wafers, and has strong core competitive advantages in the industry.

Pain Points

The workshop of this project is equipped with a large number of single crystal furnaces . Single crystal furnaces are equipment for producing single silicon, and their internal structure is extremely complex. At the same time, the production of single crystal silicon has extremely stringent environmental requirements. For example, the temperature of the furnace body. The furnace body will deform due to excessive temperature , which will inevitably affect the size change of the equipment and cause the appearance of unqualified products. At the same time, the furnace body material works at high temperature for a long time, and the uneven temperature will reduce the life of the furnace body and cause losses.
This requires a professional and stable cooling system to meet the cooling needs of the single crystal furnace. The Tyacht cooling tower can maintain the normal operation of the furnace body equipment , so as not to cause deformation of the equipment due to excessively high temperature of the furnace body equipment, which will affect the growth of silicon crystals. In addition, the ice water machine and power station
equipped in the factory area also need corresponding cooling towers to maintain the normal operation of the equipment and the normal operation of the production line.
02Solution

According to the specific conditions of the Xiban area project in Guangnan Park of Yuze Semiconductor (Wenshan) Co., Ltd., Tyacht supplied a total of 64 TMC induced draft mixed flow closed cooling towers for single crystal furnace cooling and 3 TCT Low Sound Cross-flow Open Type Cooling Towers for chillers and power stations .


The TMC induced draft mixed flow closed cooling tower supporting the single crystal furnace has a single circulating water volume of 400m³/h ; the tower shell is made of hot-dip galvanized steel plate, which has a long service life; the coil is made of 304 stainless steel coil, which has passed the underwater pressure test and has strong pressure bearing capacity; the filler and water baffle are made of virgin PVC plastic sheet, which meets the national B1 grade flame retardant material standard and can effectively prevent corrosion and microbial growth; the cooling tower water drift rate is less than 0.001%, which meets the national standard for cooling towers.

The TCT Low Sound Cross-flow Open Type Cooling Towers equipped with a chiller has a single circulating water volume of 3200m³/h ; the tower shell is made of organic fiberglass with a service life of more than 30 years; the spray filler is high-quality PVC sheet, free of impurities, with a corrugated design, a large heat dissipation coefficient, excellent hydrophilicity, high heat exchange performance and water spraying load, small wind resistance, and good ventilation performance; the cooling tower has low noise during operation.

The TCT Low Sound Cross-flow Open Type Cooling Towers with supporting power station has a single circulating water volume of 550m³/h ; all exposed metal components in contact with humid air are made of hot-dip galvanized steel plates, and the cooling tower is resistant to strong winds; the protection level of the motor is IP55, the insulation level is F, and the all-weather type is suitable for outdoor use; the fan has passed the dynamic and static balance test, and the fan blade is made of hollow aluminum alloy.
In April 2023, Tyacht and Yuze Semiconductor (Wenshan) Co., Ltd. carried out project cooperation. In order to achieve the smooth progress of the project, Tyacht technicians followed up the cooling tower production process throughout the process, ensuring that every link in the cooling tower production process reached the best state.
